A few things people ask us most.
Ocean cargo to Nigeria takes around 45 days. Air cargo takes 8-10 working days, and items must reach us by Thursday to travel that week.
Ocean cargo is priced per CBM, and the rate depends on whether we deliver to the door or you collect from our destination office, and collecting is cheaper. Common items have fixed prices, for example a 220L drum and a Ghana Must Go bag. Air cargo is £7.00 per kg with a 10 kg minimum, charged on whichever is greater, the actual weight or the volumetric weight. Use the quote tool for an exact figure, since it also accounts for your destination city.
Whichever is greater. We measure the volume (length × width × height in metres) and we also convert the weight, where 250kg counts as 1 CBM. You are charged on the larger of the two. This is standard in sea freight: it means a small, very heavy item (an engine, a box of tiles, a drum packed with tinned food) is priced fairly rather than shipping almost free because it takes up little space.
Door-to-door means we deliver to the recipient's address in Nigeria. Office collection means your goods wait at our destination office for someone to collect, which costs less per CBM. You choose when you get your quote.
